Notice of Water Meter Upgrades

Star Sewer & Water District is upgrading outdated radio reading devices on some of the water meters in your neighborhood. During this process, you may see District Staff working around your neighborhood or on your property.

Meter Location: Water meters are located outside homes in a meter pit, typically in front of the property. Therefore, you do not need to do anything. This is simply a courtesy notice, notifying you of work in your neighborhood. 

District Staff will work on this project between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

During the upgrade, your water service may be briefly interrupted (5 to 10 minutes). We are sorry for this minor inconvenience.

Purpose: The program aims to upgrade the water meter technology to allow more efficient meter reading and obtain detailed information about water consumption, ultimately leading to better water management and service for you.
