At approximately 1:00 P.M. today a 14” main water line that services Star Sewer & Water District customers was hit by a contractor working in the area.  Star Sewer & Water District customers may have experienced low water pressure and volume for approximately 90 minutes. Customers may notice discolored water coming from their taps. This is common when there is a sudden change in the flow of water in the pipeline. If this happens, simply run cold-water faucets in your bathtubs or outside spigots at full stream until the water runs clear again. During periods of discoloration, we recommend you postpone washing clothes and limit your use of hot water until the cold-water clears.
